    Twitter Launches Major Redesign [VIDEO]

    December 23, 2011

A couple weeks old now obviously and I’ve tried to get “new” new Twitter and failed, so I share this just to be done with it. I’ve erased caches and installed mobile versions all for naught… maybe I lack the patience, but I’m certainly intrigued at this step, if not personally than for brands that I either worked with or may want to work with in the future…  -TM

Clearing the decks or tabs as the case may be, some stuff that piqued my interest but that I never got around to making any full-fledged commentary on…  this on is about a new social networking site called Favo.rs… points for some clever URL’ing there… I guess it’s “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” for the Twitter set, but check out this article for a better understanding…  -TM

Who Is an Average Facebook User? [INFOGRAPHIC]

Google is not a social network, but it’s not a graveyard, either | VentureBeat

    November 03, 2011

There was some dirt-shoveling on Twitter yesterday when I shared an article from Ogilvy PR praising Google+. My point was that it was too soon to bury it, just because, in true Internet fashion, everyone jumped to the shiny new thing, but didn’t wait for it to come into it’s own. Enter Venture Beat’s Jolie O’Dell, a favorite and friend to many here in Richmond, who has a more in-depth look at G+ from a Googler’s POV. Check it out!

Silicon Valley's New Hiring Strategy | Fast Company

    November 02, 2011

Howdy folks! This one’s been sitting in the tab bar for awhile, just waiting for my attention to wander back. Which is too bad, because it’s really good! What self-taught skills would you love to turn into a career if only you could skip that annoying “Experience” field on the application?  More importantly, when is the rest of the world going to catch on to this phenomenon?  -TM

    October 19, 2011

I need to share this because it’s been sitting here on my browser bar for a while, I’ve read it and re-read it in bits and pieces… something I really needed to think about at this stage in my career and life even… so I figured it was worth sharing, just in case others are in similar situations… enjoy!  -TM

    R.I.P. Google Buzz...

    October 18, 2011

So this is from last week and doesn’t offer any particular insight… it just makes me wonder… the gild seems to be off the lily already for Google+, and this announcement reminds us how bad they’ve been in previous efforts… it’s great that they’re “focusing” on G+, but it’d be better if they were good in the first place…  -TM
